It’s time to abolish the Human Rights Commission

Today in The Australian, I’ve been quoted saying Australia’s anti-discrimination commission should be abolished:

The Institute of Public Affairs’ Simon Breheny urged the Coalition to go further in its efforts to recalibrate the human rights agenda, saying the Human Rights Commission had campaigned against rights such as free speech and should be abolished.

The Australian has also run an excellent piece on the shambolic practices of the Commission and its deep left-wing bias. The article provides some insight into the recent improper campaign against retailer Myer, which I wrote about at the time. Read the full piece here.
